Box A: 1 white tie
Box B: 6 black ties
Box C: 2 black ties, 2 white ties

We know that Box B does not contain the 2 black and 2 white ties because it is mislabeled as such. So, it must contain wither 6 black ties or 1 white tie. When a black tie is drawn from the box, the label “1 white tie” can be eliminated. Therefore, it has 6 black ties.

Since we know Box C is mislabeled, it does not contain 1 white tie, nor does it contain 6 black ties (Box B does). Therefore Box C has 2 black ties and 2 white ties, and Box A will contain 1 white tie.
